I have fabric! I have shoes! I have wig! I have sewing session this Sunday with *
static-sidhe and *
Keysha-chan. I'm excited! I may get a costume done this year after all!
My course has been crazy (immensely enjoyably so however!) - and I'm not just saying that like all students do, lol. The industry standard day is 10 and 3/4 hours (3/4 hours being for omnoms) and then on top of that I've been coming home and doing some paid work - editing a documentary. I have my first job! And it's in the industry I want to be in! (Yes, I've never been employed in a shop or cafe or some sort before, lol: I'm terrible. Not even a paper run.) Other really awesome things have been happening this week too - and gossip at school has taught me that word travels like wild-fire, so I don't really want to talk about it here!
I've started up a Tumblr -
[link] and I'm quite active there if you'd like to follow me. I mainly reblog quotes and my fandoms - Toy Story/Doctor Who/Spaced/Star Trek/Nerdfighteria, really. I tried to resist joining for a while, but the ridiculous gifs got me with their animated whiles. *shakes fist*
(I just found a pencil. In the fridge. I have no idea how it got there.)
Sadly, I won't be going to Auckland Armageddon - by then we'll be in deepest darkest post production for graduation films. Speaking of which, I need to find a graduation dress! Our crew are looking to dress up fancy-smancy for the event. I was always one of those people that refused to go to school balls/prom or the like, and whilst I stand by that decision I must admit I'm looking forward to dressing up - and not for cosplay. It will however be a tough call on whether or not to go for a red, green or purple dress.

I know that the event is about 3 months away, but the rate this year has gone I'd rather get something sooner rather than later.
Quick dA update over and out. *salutes* Hope everyone's going well!
