It is early evening, dusk in the street, husky purple, the smell of slumbering spring in its breath, pedestrians scuttling, wind gushing with umbrellas padding the skies.

Listen. It is evening stomping up Heretaunga Street, office doors closing, street lights sleepily flickering, sodden smog traveling over supermarket and corner shop. Sunset, dusk, the chorus of car horns, clunk and click, tramping home.

It is Tuesday night. The door of the nameless Fish and Chip shop jangles open, red white checkered table cloths swish in response, two underpaid staff glumly pick at cell phone buttons. Oil cackles in the sea-shelled stove, the till tinkles

Etna's costume from Cross Edge both made and worn by myself.

I love this shot - looks like Etna's really fluttering around!

Brief costume description-
The tail slots into a belt worn underneath the lined tiny yukata of tiny. The obi isn't interfaced, it instead has 5mm Lionboard inside. The wig was amazingly fun to style - perhaps this was induced by the copious amounts of hairpsray fumes needed. Skulls are hand-painted with acrylics - a fabric paint brand has yet to convert me. Shoes are from E-bay. Overall this costume is very comfy! I just have to watch out for my dignity when getting out of cars.

Not sure if you know this, but there is textile medium that you can mix with acrylics to make it fabric paint. (or if you wish to be lazy/do something overly detailed in the future [link] custom print fabric)
